A Little History of Linseisen'sOriginally built as a hatchery in the 1950's, Ed & Rita Linseisen purchased the building and Purina feed business in June of 1974. At that time the business sold groceries, beer, Purina feed, and more. Ed Linseisen quickly added the Stihl equipment and repairs segment of the business, as they phased out the grocery section. Through the years as the business grew, the warehouse and the retail space were renovated and expanded. Renovations in 2001 brought more retail space, an exterior facelift, and a wide wraparound porch. When the floors, shelves, sales counter, and offices were all torn down and redesigned in 2008, there was a record turnout for the Grand Re-Opening celebration. In spring of 2012 a bright new retail greenhouse completed the garden center area.
Now owned by Keith and Becky Linseisen, son and daughter-in-law of Ed and Rita, Linseisen's Feed is still a family owned, modern farm & ranch store with the same small town service. A Certified Expert Purina dealer and Stihl Elite dealer for nearly four decades, we are proud to offer products we believe in and can stand behind: not only Purina and Stihl, but also Priefert, Scotts, Gallagher, All Seasons, Science Diet, YETI, Wrangler, and more. These are products that we know well, that we recommend to friends, and which we are confident will not only get the job done, but also keep their animals happy and healthy and yards beautiful.
